"Young people today are looking of happiness "
|
| | Monday, May 24, 2010 Young people today are searching for happiness. It's true. Proof of this assertion, in fact, was the meeting last Friday with the theologian and professor at Lebanese Robert Cheaib , organized by the department of religion ITC "V. Bachelet and IPS G. Galilei "Gravina in Puglia. Students of the two many institutions have followed with interest the debate proposed by Cheaib, made current and very accessible through the use of songs, pictures and testimonials. His words have become intertwined as the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the true source of happiness for man, but also those of people who have made their lives a gift for others, such as Mother Teresa of Calcutta. Many questions from the guys that have emerged at the end of meeting. It was nice to see that, although young, is already pose serious questions about the meaning of life, how to give structure and depth to their life. Moments like this are essential to try to throw a seed in the hearts of young that can germinate in good works, light and truth. "We hope - says the professor of religion Pina Lombardi - is to make these opportunities for reflection a regular event for our students and all young people who wish for happiness."
